Stacy Pollock, OASSA Legal Counsel
Stacy Pollock provides consultative services to the OASSA professional staff, contributes legal articles for the OASSA Update, and speaks at many of our professional development conferences. Under the OASSA Legal Protection Plan, Stacy is our attorney when members require legal representation.
Rich Berlin, OASSA Cheer Director
Rich Berlin retired after a 34-year career in education, including 28 years in school administration as an Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and Associate Principal. Throughout his career, Rich also spent more than 20 years coaching, giving him a unique perspective on both educational leadership and athletics. His commitment to student-athletes extended beyond his school, as he served on the Northeast District Athletic Board, contributing to the leadership and development of interscholastic athletics. Rich’s career has been defined by his dedication to education, athletics, and helping students and others reach their full potential.
As Cheer Director, Berlin’s responsibilities will encompass the administration of the OASSA cheer program, event management, and overall program leadership. He will work to support the organization and continued development of OASSA cheer activities and events across Ohio.

Jennifer Cooper, OASSA Cheer Coordinator
Jennifer has been involved with cheerleading since she was in the 2nd grade. Since that time, her love of cheer has continued to grow. Jennifer coached at two Central Ohio schools winning multiple league championships and having numerous top 5 state finishes including one state title. Since leaving coaching, Jennifer is a judge for cheer competitions throughout Ohio and has worked with OASSA since 2020. She also teaches high school in the Columbus area.
As Cheer Coordinator, Cooper will serve as OASSA’s cheer rules/regulations and judging expert, providing leadership and guidance on judging, cheer rules, regulations, and other technical aspects of the sport.
