Description:
To provide leadership in improving instructional practices that provide meaningful and equitable learning opportunities, so students continually progress and achieve at higher levels. Guide and oversee curricular design, instructional planning, assessment coordination, and continuous improvement planning. Provide on-going professional development and training to support instruction and achievement. Support teacher recruitment, development, and evaluation practices and systems. Oversee and support monitoring and compliance.
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree (M.A.) in education related field
• At least five years of related experience
• Appropriate state of Ohio certification or licensure
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
