Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration (or similar)
Administrative experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility
Appropriate administrative license or the ability to be granted one by the Ohio Department of Education
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Candidates with the following experiences are preferred:
Displays exemplary leadership in curriculum, instruction and assessment
Possesses excellent communication skills as a speaker and listener, as well as the interpersonal skills to work tactfully, creatively and collaboratively with staff, students, parents and community members
Demonstrates student-centered leadership
Promotes use of innovative ideas and strategies which contribute to the overall success of the students and building
Exhibits positive leadership and the ability to build and maintain a positive culture through involvement of all stakeholders
Evidences a strong work ethic and high energy level
Possesses proven ability to evaluate teachers, staff and programs for optimal effectiveness
Demonstrates a high level of visibility in the school and wider school community
