Qualifications: Ohio Administrative License with proper certification for Elementary or the ability to obtain one prior to 08/01/2023
Certification in OTES 2.0 and OCES 2.0 is desired prior to 08/01/2023
Prior work records must demonstrate good working habits, excellent attendance record and evaluations.
Ability to provide a clear BCI/FBI background check free of convictions
Additional Information: 210-Day, multi-year, administrative contract

The Midview Local Schools is seeking an innovative, energetic, fun and enthusiastic leader to be the next principal of West Elementary School. The successful candidate should have an advanced knowledge of: Early literacy and literacy frameworks, small group instruction and differentiated practices with the use of data, PBIS and student behavioral supports, IAT/RTI, implementation of instructional strategies and leading teachers through implementation, providing and using feedback for personal/professional growth, leading teacher based teams and building leadership teams, understanding the need for collaboration, etc. The successful candidate should possess the ability to build and sustain meaningful relationships with all stakeholders that foster a rich and healthy culture inside and outside of school while being highly visible in the community. Effective and transparent communication skills are a must. The candidates that fill the positions must be able to understand the diverse culture of the students and community that they serve. The ability to inspire leadership in others must be present in the candidate who is hired.
